Business as usual, 
the daily madness 
has returned, 
the hurrying around, 
the always almost crashes 
and the mumbled curses,

but between the lines 
another tension 
can be felt 
in turnings of the head 
and in the eyes 
that look more worried 
than before.

But noone will 
acknowledge that, 
but states: 
business as usual!
